The challenge
The cargo holds of a live-fish transport vessel needed a seamless lining that resists constant water contact and is safe for living fish.
The outcome
AQUATA® was applied inside the wells without harming the live fish and salmon. Numastec's brochure describes the vessel as the biggest live-fish transporter in the world. The coating holds a drinking-water approval from the Norwegian Ministry of Public Health.
