The challenge
The station's steel penstocks, turbine housings, and structural steelwork were subject to continuous moisture exposure and corrosive water chemistry. Standard paint systems had failed within 3–4 years, requiring repeated costly intervention.
The outcome
Numastec applied a multi-layer anti-corrosion system across all exposed steel surfaces. The system arrested active corrosion, restored structural integrity, and is designed for a 15-year maintenance-free service life in the hydropower environment.
